The look of this leather was achieved in the tannery through various elaborate treatments. The leather sports an all-over grey print. On top of that, a relief print is added in the shape of edgy scales. After that, the tanner uses a sponge with white lacquer to manually touch the tops of the scales, creating a beautiful pattern. This slick derby model comes with a durable TPU sole. A dovetail joint divides the heel into a dampening TPU part, and a leather part that is finished with 6 small copper nails. The inside of the shoe is finished with high-quality calf leather lining. The sole is stitched through in the typical Blake make.
