The zig-zag line on the outsole of this lightweight sneaker gives this shoe the typical Floris van Bommel look. Floris once claimed that the zig-zag line was inspired by his Saturday night walk home from the pub. We suspect that the origin is more likely to be found in graphic design. But we’ll leave this open for now…. The tongue is finished with a rubber label sporting the Floris van Bommel logo. The carefully designed last, the high-quality leather lining and the removable footbed offer high wearing comfort. Combining a sporty model with classic suede gives the sneaker a very elegant look. This version is made of lightly oiled, dark blue suede that stems from an Italian tannery specialising in suede in Santa Croce sull’Arno, Pisa. The heel cap is made of semi vegetable-tanned cognac leather and was made in a tannery in the same world-famous capital of the leather industry.
